Rare Earth Permanent
Magnet includes NdFeb Magnet, SmCo Magnet and AlNiCo Magnet. Why Ferrite magnet
is not Rare Earth Permanent Magnet? Ferrite magnet does
not contain rare earth material. So Price of NdFeB magnet and SmCo is expensive
than price of Ferrite.
NdFeb magnet is mainly made from these
materials: Nd、Dy ,Tb、Al、B、Fe、Nb ，Co. And Sm an Co ingredient are main
material of Samarium Cobalt magnet. Sm is rare earth material; the cost of
material is very high which is the reason that SmCo magnet have not been widely
used.
Each type magnet has different physical
properties. According to its specialty, process technology is different; the
shape can be made different. Some shapes, the SmCo magnet can be, but NdFeB
cannot be.
