NdFeB magnet, i.e neodymium Iron Boron magnets is the most widely used rare earth magnet.
Because NdFeB magnet , also called “ neo ” or “neodymium “ is the strongest permanent magnet, and the operation temperature can be 150 -180 ℃ which can perform its best magnetic performance; In terms of Theory , NdFeB magnet working temperature can reach 200 ℃, in fact, it depend on the size, shape, working environment and magnetic circuit.  If need higher operation temperature , then considering Samarium Cobalt Magnet.

Secondly, neodymium magnets include variety of grades, is able to meet kinds of requirement of magnetic output performance and temperature ratings. So NdFeB magnet is very popular in kinds of application. The Grade is related with magnetic output and reversible temperature coefficients, so choosing grade is very important.

Neo magnet is composed of rare earth neodymium, metal praseodymium, iron, aluminum, boron-iron alloy, and other rare earth materials. The iron component make the neodymium magnet is easy to be rusty, so need make plating, usually, Nickel-copper-Nickel (NiCuNi) three layers protective coating. Also can make Zinc, Au (gold), Ag (silver), chromium (Chrome), epoxy (grey or black epoxy) plating.
